About the method

The Franklin Method® is a scientific, anatomy-based movement theory that was developed by Eric Franklin in 1994 and is continuously being developed further. It is characterized by its holistic approach and differs from other movement methods by its emphasis on mental imagination. The method combines imagination, anatomical knowledge and movement techniques to improve posture, flexibility and strength.

She is a leader in applied neuroplasticity and is based on the idea that our body image and movement patterns are influenced by our mental images. By improving these mental images, we can improve our physical performance and avoid injury.

The Franklin Method® is used in various areas, including rehabilitation, sports training, dance and theater training as well as in the general health and fitness sector. It is recognized by the health authorities in Switzerland.

Lesson

The lessons include various exercises aimed at training posture and body awareness as well as promoting coordination and stability. The exercises include both static and dynamic movements as well as breathing and relaxation exercises.

In a creative way, we embody our anatomy by combining imagination, movement, touch and perception to enable the body to reorganize itself. As a result, we gain more energy and vitality and experience our body in a completely new way. You will find that you have more energy and vitality and feel less pain at the same time.

Consciously experiencing and perceiving anatomical and biomechanical relationships improves your body awareness.

"Our mental images influence our movement patterns."
