Franklin Method®
Experience movement from the inside out.
Gain a new understanding of your body and learn to use it more efficiently. By combining hands-on anatomy with mental imagery, you’ll show your brain how joints and muscles work together optimally. The result is an immediate sense of lightness, an upright posture, and a feeling of physical strength that supports you in sports and everyday life.
Who is this method suitable for?
The Franklin Method® is suitable for people of all ages who want to improve their movement, body awareness, and health, especially for:
Athletes and dancers who want to improve their performance, flexibility, and coordination and prevent injuries.
People with posture issues, muscle tension, or pain who are looking for better posture, greater ease, and better balance in their daily lives.
People undergoing rehabilitation or dealing with recurring health issues who want to build confidence in their own bodies.
Anyone who would like to become more aware of their body, their fine motor skills, and the connection between body and mind.
The Franklin Method® has been studied in various research studies and is described, among other things, as a supportive approach to improving function in patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. It combines movement, mental imagery, and an understanding of anatomy to help the nervous system relearn.
The Franklin Method® takes a holistic approach that considers both the physical and mental aspects of exercise and health.
This is how we work: Creating new patterns with ease.
In our classes, we combine mind and body. Instead of rigid exercises, we use creative methods to gently rebalance your nervous system—or your child’s.
What to expect during the session:
Movement & Awareness: Simple, flowing exercises help you feel your body in the here and now.
Internal imagery: We use mental imagery and anatomical visuals that your brain instantly translates into better, more fluid movement.
Breathing & Relaxation: Targeted sequences help calm your system and create space for change.
The goal of the collaboration:
More energy: Noticeable vitality for your everyday life.
Light Posture: Experience an upright posture without effort.
Less tension: Releasing pain and blockages.
A New Body Image: Developing a Clear, Positive Sense of Self.

About the method
The Franklin Method® is a scientifically grounded, anatomy-based approach to movement that was developed by Eric Franklin in 1994 and has been continuously refined ever since. It focuses on:
Imagination (mental images)
Anatomical knowledge
Targeted movement sequences
This combination has a positive effect on body image. Movement patterns can reorganize themselves, leading to improved posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination. The method thus gently harnesses the brain’s neuroplasticity: what you visualize and embody changes the way you move.
The Franklin Method® is used in, among other places:
Rehabilitation and Prevention
Sports training
Dance and Theater Training
general health promotion and fitness
In Switzerland, the Franklin Method® is recognized by the health authorities.
"Our mental images influence our movement patterns."
