Support for Children's Development in Zurich
How neuromotor movement development supports concentration, posture, and coordination through the nervous system
.
Clinic in Zurich, District 7.
If your child seems a bit uncoordinated or has trouble sitting still: Sometimes a child’s motor development doesn’t progress as smoothly as it could. You often notice very specific things in everyday life:
Your child slides around in their chair, wobbles, or has a hard time sitting still—not because they're being disobedient, but because the physical tension in their body is too high.
It gets tired unusually quickly when painting or writing.
He or she reacts noticeably more sensitively to external stimuli, such as loud noises or being touched, than other children.
He has difficulty coordinating movements that require precise coordination (such as riding a bike, playing ball, or doing balance exercises).
His movements sometimes seem a little awkward, hurried, or strained.
This is not a diagnosis in and of itself, but rather an indication that your child’s nervous system and motor control have to work hard in everyday life to maintain stability.
How My Work Begins
Instead of scolding your child or providing superficial training, I start where movement originates: with the nervous system's control mechanisms.
Through gentle, precise, and slow movements—drawn from NeuroScanBalance®, NeuroHorizons®, the Franklin Method®, and Neuroathletics, among others—we provide the brain with new information. Your child learns through noticeable differences: they experience what lighter, more efficient movement feels like.
No strenuous exercises or strength training.
No performance query.
Instead, a playful, gentle exploration that helps the nervous system let go of old and burdensome patterns of tension on its own.
What You Can Expect
How quickly things change varies as much as the child does. Some children show greater physical calm and smoother coordination after just the first few sessions, while for others it is a gradual process that takes weeks.
After three to four sessions, we’ll have an honest discussion together to determine whether this approach is the right fit for your child and whether it’s working.
The first step is really simple.
Give me a call for a free 15-minute initial consultation. We’ll discuss your concerns or your child’s situation at your leisure and with no obligation.
