They've been everywhere.
And the pain is still there.
Physical therapy. Massage. Maybe chiropractic care, osteopathy, fascia training, injections, pain medication.
Some things helped for a short while. Nothing lasted.
That doesn’t mean you did anything wrong.
It just means you were looking in the wrong place.
The pattern that almost everyone knows
The treatment helps. It gets better by evening. After two days, it comes back. You go back. It gets better again. Then it comes back again.
If a treatment reliably provides short-term relief but does not last, it has addressed the symptom, not the cause. The muscle was tense, but something caused it to tense up. And that “something” is still there after the treatment.
What I Do Differently
I don't treat the area that hurts. I look for the reason why your nervous system is protecting that area. To do this, I test systems that are rarely examined in a conventional examination:
Sense of balance,
Eye movements,
Body awareness,
Breathing.
If one of these functions unreliably, the body compensates, and that compensation causes tension—usually right where it hurts.
The difference is often noticeable as early as the first session. Not because I've resolved anything, but because the nervous system is reevaluating a movement.
Neuroathletics or physical therapy—what's the difference?
Physical therapy focuses on the body's tissues and its ability to handle stress: strength, flexibility, and building up tolerance to stress. It is effective and, in many cases, exactly what is needed—especially after injuries and surgeries.
Neuro-centered therapy starts one step earlier: with the information the brain uses to control movement. It does not replace physical therapy. It is an approach for cases in which physical therapy was done correctly but still did not produce lasting results.
